THE NAVIGATOR TRIANGLE A coral reef species survey on the Leadsman Shoal off the coast of Zululand reveals some startling finds, and pitches marine biologist, Steve Catterall and his companions into a desperate race against two shadowy and deadly opposition groups. One group has links to a highly secret World War 2 German U-boat operation off that same coast, and the other is intent on forcing an Irish claim to the cargo of an old shipwreck. The fast-paced action takes the reader on a nail-biting ride out to sea from Durban to Richards Bay and to the little-known Leadsman Shoal; from the reeking mangrove swamps of the eastern seaboard of South Africa, to the pristine coral reefs and tropical forests of the wild Zululand coast. About the author: Jeff Gaisford retired from formal nature conservation after 36 years spent exposing the very areas that are covered in this, his first novel, to the international public through print media and television. He is passionate about sea-turtles, old Land Rovers, the marine environment, boats and aircraft and gets terribly sea- and airsick. During his working career he travelled the Zululand beaches and dived extensively on the Leadsman Shoal. He lives in Hilton, near Pietermaritzburg in the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa.
